Dress #1 - I already wore this one to work with a black cardigan and tall boots.
Dress #2 - I love that this dress had pockets!
Dress #3 - This one has pockets too and is loose fitting. It will be so comfy on a hot summer day!
Dress #4 - This one is my favorite! I'm channeling my style icon (Charlotte York from Sex and the City) in this pink number with a white cardigan and pearls! Sweet and innocent just like me... right?!

P.S. - I added a search bar to the blog. This came about because I wanted to make the lasagna I posted the recipe for months ago but I didn't write it down. So I had to search through my posts trying to find it. So - now you can search for all posts that relate to recipes... or fertility... or injections... or whatever.

On a sad note: The father of one of my besties, Leah (aka. LL), passed away yesterday. Please pray for her and her family to find peace.
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4

Friday night we went bowling with some of John's soccer friends. I beat one of the guys so I'm feeling pretty good about myself. Today I cleaned the house while John went to Tristan's softball practice, his own softball practice and then his soccer game. Busy day for him! Lexi and I went to his soccer game for a bit to show our support.

Next month I'll use Lupron to suppress my ovaries for a couple of weeks before my cycle. Then, hopefully, my ovaries will progress at the same rate.

I started off the day right with a sweet kiss from my hubby and then only one stick at the doctor's office. I had no cysts and my levels were better than they have been with any injectable cycle. For those of you who know about these things...
FSH = 7.8 (The lower the better and mine is usually around 9-13)
E2 - 48.1 (They want this under 75 so all is good!)
I start injections tonight!! Woop! Woop!
John got me these beautiful tulips and is making his famous spaghetti sauce. I made him his favorite last night (pizza) and I'm making dessert tonight. Also we went out to eat Saturday night. This Valentine's Day has been a three day extravaganza!
The below is a picture of me at dinner Saturday night. I was giving the hubs a dirty look because he wouldn't put down his phone. Since he got his new toy I can't get him to leave it alone for a minute! I realized he was about to snap a photo so I quickly turned it into a smile.

1st - It snowed again in the Deep South. It has been a particularly frigid winter and I'm ready for some sunshine and warm weather. It's supposed to warm up over the weekend and I'm thankful for that! Here are some pics of a white Alabama.
2nd - Tristan had her 7th Grade School Dance tonight. She looked SO beautiful!! After the dance they're going to a party at a friend's house. To wrap up the evening they're going to see the midnight viewing of the new Justin Bieber movie. (Like OMG - It's going to be epic!!) I can't believe she's growing up so quickly!
3rd - Fertility News - Mother Nature came calling this morning so I have an appt with Dr. H Monday. If all goes well I'll start injections that night! EEK! We're really doing this again. I haven't decided yet but I think I'm going to be a little more private about it this time. I'm going to really work on positive thoughts and relaxing this go round. And when I post about everything it stresses me out to think about letting you guys down. I'll let you know Monday though if this cycle's a go and then I'll let you know if I ovulate on the right side. But after that, Mum is the word until the blood test! I hope you understand...
4th - I went to my life insurance physical this morning. The woman was extremely rude but she got it the first try! Hey... I can handle rudeness if I only get stuck once! After she got it she stood up and said, "Whew! I've never gotten blood from that spot." I'm glad she told me after the fact!

This wasn’t my first trip to a chiropractor. Actually I’ve been many, many times to 4 different doctors. It’s crazy that they’re all chiropractors but all very different. I did like this new lady. She took a lot of time with me to try to tailor something special to my issues. However, while I was waiting for her, I noticed that her regulars were filing in and out at the rate of about every two minutes! So when I become a regular I’ll be paying $35/visit for 2 minutes? My accountant brain can’t fathom that! Also, they only take appointments 9-5 which means I need to leave work 40 minutes early to get there because they are all the way on the other side of 280! I want to give her a shot but I won’t be able to go see her more than once/week tops. We’ll see how she reacts to that. My Tuscaloosa chiropractor spent a good hour and a half on me every time I went. I would get massaged, electrodes and adjusted every visit. It’s hard to go from that to two minutes. But she has a high success rate for aiding in pregnancies and all of her regulars who walked out of there had HUGE smiles on their faces. So they must not feel ripped off.
I cracked her up once. I had to fill out a questionnaire and one of the questions asked me to rate my health and vitality on a scale from 1 to 10. I said I was a 9. So when she started going over all of my issues she flipped back to that page and said “You do realize that you ranked yourself a 9!” I said, “Yeah! All of my doctor’s say I’m the healthiest sick person they know. I rarely get sick and I feel pretty darn healthy most of the time!” She laughed and said that I’m definitely not a 9 but she likes my spirit!

Saturday night I went to meet a couple of the Supper Club girls. We had a lot of fun and it was what I needed to pull me out of my funky day. Here's a picture of my new jacket and one of HT and Stace messing around.
Sunday John spent 12 hours putting in a vanity in the main level bathroom and I babysat Emma. Here are a few highlights of our afternoon together.
She's running to give me a hug in this one! So sweet!
Yes... she has oreo all over her face. Auntie Jaime gives her anything she wants.
Here is the before and after shot of the new vanity. Canadian family - let John's dad know that he put it in all by himself. He's Mr. Handyman!
Funny story about the vanity - We saw this lovely at Costco and decided we needed it. We bought it and went to Home Depot to get a faucet. Then we saw another vanity that was smaller and thought it might be better. So John took this one back to Costco and went back to Home Depot to buy it. While he was there he realized that it wouldn't work because the pipes would show. So he went back to Costco repurchased this one. By the time he got there they were closed. Poor guy. He was so frustrated. He had to go Sunday morning to get it. I'm glad we got this one. It's a very nice piece with real granite and non-slamming wood doors. I'm happy. We just need to change out the hardware to the oil rubbed bronze and we'll be done.

I hope my dinner date with the girls is still on to turn around this terrible day.

Tomorrow we have a nurse coming by for our life insurance physical. We need to up our coverage so they're making us have a physical. Boo! Why is it that everybody wants my blood?? I told John to call them back and tell them to send the best blood taker they have... but he didn't. Not only is it scary that some stranger will be digging in my arm tomorrow but it will be at my house. That just seems weird! That's at 12 so I booked a massage for 3 pm. I feel like I'll deserve it! :) Then I'm meeting some of the Supper Club Girls for dinner. It feels like I haven't seen them in forever so I'm excited!
Happy Birthday to my Grandmama Rose! We love you!

There was one thing I wasn't prepared for: her optimism. I started asking her about donor eggs and embryos and she stopped me. She asked why I'm thinking about those things. I told her that we've been trying 3 1/2 years and I thought it was about time to start talking about other options. But she told me I've really on had a few cycles where I've ovulated on the right side so she is very optimistic that I'll get pregnant. I didn't expect that. I thought these were last ditch efforts.
So... I'm taking my supplements, made an appointment with a chiropractor, and I'm trying to keep the optimism.

He's like a kid in a candy store!
I was reintroduced to an old friend... the internet. It's been down for a few days and it's amazing how lost you feel without it. I had to call my mom one night to check my gmail.
Fertility News: Tomorrow I have an appointment with Dr. H. Both of my incisions are still oozing so she definitely needs to check those. I feel like 3 weeks after surgery they should be pretty much healed! I'll also find out all of the stuff that John couldn't remember after my surgery. Maybe we'll iron out a game plan for the next few months too.
Finally... Since the internet was down yesterday I couldn't wish my nephew a Happy Birthday! So Happy Birthday a day late Austin!!xxoo
